Abstract(s)
No
This report was written within the scope of the curricular unit Supervised Educational Practice, integrated in the study plan of the 2nd year of the Master's Degree in Pre-school Education and Teaching in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, taught at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, and seeks to highlight the formative journey in the context of supervised educational practice in the two mentioned educational levels, in order to build a double teaching profile. In the preparation of this document we sought to adopt a critical, reflective and inquiring attitude about it. The report is organized into three chapters that contribute to the construction of knowledge inherent to the educational practice and allow a better understanding of the educational intentionality of the activities developed. Chapter I explored the theoretical framework on education and the teacher profile, trying to highlight the commonalities and differences between the two educational levels. In chapter II, the educational environment in which the pedagogical practice was developed was characterized, highlighting the role it plays in the child's development. Chapter III contains a critical reflection on some of the activities developed, describing and reflecting on them. This document also aims to illustrate the requirements underlying the dual profile of teaching, regarding the reformulation of knowing how to think and act in the educational context and the in-depth knowledge about the two levels, consolidating personal and socioprofessional skills, perpetuated by the principle of lifelong learning.
