Abstract(s)
conceitos, metodologias e normas a seguir.

The construction of new substations or the expansion of existing installations are projects that are often requested from engineering offices due to the accelerated development of different technologies. However, due to its complexity, few of these offices are familiar with the complete process that allows these projects to be successfully completed. To solve this challenge, this dissertation proposes an optimization of the work methodology, based on the various existing standards, for the construction and development of the electrical project of a Substation. This optimization, in addition to being fundamentally based on the applicable standards, results from a wide selection of dissertations and scientific articles already developed on some essential topics for the dimensioning of an electrical substation. Thus, in this dissertation, the study of the electrical design of a Pumping Electric Substation is carried out, covering in general all the different concepts and methodologies. In order to validate and consolidate all the mentioned concepts and methodologies, a real case study was implemented with the development of the electrical project of the Substation located in Nisa (Portugal) with an installed power of 380 MVA 30/400 kV associated with an electricity production center with photovoltaic panels. The results show that it is effectively possible to carry out the electrical project of a Substation with the mentioned methodology, never forgetting the need to adjust the different parameters for the different particularities of each Substation to be dimensioned. It should also be noted that the dissertation will be developed in partnership with the company Proquality - Estudos e Projectos de Engenharia Lda and will have the supervision and guidance of the coordinating professor of the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP), Professor Engineer José António Beleza Carvalho
