Edición crítica de los Quintetos con dos violas I, II y III de José Palomino (1753-1810), compuestos para el Conde de Fernán Núñez.
Ante la necesidad de la recuperación, estudio y puesta en valor de repertorios ibéricos ignorados, nace este proceso editorial, con el objeto asimismo de servir como guía para una ejecución asequible, basada siempre en criterios historicistas y de interpretación adecuados.
Esta colección de partituras pretende ser una fuente de consulta no sólo para intérpretes que deseen una exploración del repertorio portugués del último tercio del siglo XVIII, sino también para profesionales del campo de la Musicología y otras disciplinas relacionadas con la materia.
Por otro lado, este trabajo se presenta como un documento necesario para la revalorización del patrimonio musical luso e hispano, así como de la Historia de la Música en nuestra Península, que logre un posicionamiento destacado dentro del estudio de la misma en Europa.
Critical edition of José Palomino´s String Quintets with two violas I, II & III, composed for the Count of Fernán Núñez. Due to the necesity for the recovery, study and enhancement of ignored Iberian repertoires, this editorial process was born, in order to also serve as a guide for an affordable execution, always based on historicist criteria and adequate interpretation. This collection of scores is intended to be a reference source not only for players who wish to explore the Portuguese repertoire of the last third of the 18th century, but also for professionals in the field of Musicology and other disciplines related to the subject. On the other hand, this work is presented as a necessary document for the revaluation of the Portuguese and Hispanic musical heritage, as well as the History of Music in our Peninsula, in order to achieve a prominent position within the study of it in Europe.
