Abstract(s)
A obsolescência tecnológica de bases de dados representa um desafio significativo para as
organizações modernas, ao comprometer a segurança, a conformidade regulatória e a
eficiência operacional. Este trabalho tem como objetivo desenvolver uma framework proativa
para identificar, priorizar e mitigar a obsolescência em bases de dados, abordando tanto
sistemas relacionais como não relacionais. Inclui uma análise detalhada dos riscos associados
ao uso de sistemas desatualizados, como vulnerabilidades de segurança e incompatibilidades
com tecnologias modernas, além de propor uma solução estruturada para facilitar a migração
dessas bases.
O desenvolvimento da framework será complementada por gráficos comparativos que ilustram
a evolução da obsolescência e os custos associados ao longo do tempo. Estes elementos visuais
permitirão destacar os benefícios de uma abordagem preventiva face aos custos de
manutenção de sistemas desatualizados. A validação será conduzida em ambientes de teste
numa organização, assegurando a relevância prática e a eficácia da solução.
Este estudo procura não apenas resolver um problema técnico, mas também contribuir para o
debate sobre a gestão de infraestruturas tecnológicas em organizações, promovendo uma
abordagem sustentável e alinhada com as exigências de segurança e conformidade

The technological obsolescence of databases represents a significant challenge for modern organizations, compromising security, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This work aims to develop a proactive framework to identify, prioritize, and mitigate database obsolescence, addressing both relational and non-relational systems. The proposal includes a detailed analysis of the risks associated with outdated systems, such as security vulnerabilities and incompatibilities with modern technologies, while proposing a structured solution to facilitate database migrations. The development of the framework will be complemented by comparative charts illustrating the evolution of obsolescence and the associated costs over time. These visual elements will highlight the benefits of a preventive approach compared to the costs of maintaining outdated systems. Validation will be conducted in test environments within an organization, ensuring the practical relevance and effectiveness of the solution. This study seeks not only to address a technical problem but also to contribute to the discussion on managing technological infrastructures in organizations, promoting a sustainable approach aligned with security and regulatory compliance requirements.
