| dc.description.abstract | A tradução tem sido tendenciosamente categorizada em dois grupos: a tradução de texto técnico e a tradução de texto literário. Contudo um determinado tipo de texto vem questionar essa separação sistemática: o texto filosófico. Apresentando tanto características de texto literário, devido ao seu estilo discursivo, como características de texto técnico, com uma forte presença de vocabulário técnico e específico, o texto filosófico apresenta-se como um híbrido entre texto literário e texto técnico. O que torna, portanto, este texto diferente das tipologias de tradução geralmente identificadas? Quais serão as implicações da tradução de um texto desse cariz? Quais serão os processos e metodologias subjacentes a essa tradução? A tradução para francês da obra Filosofia do Ritmo Portuguesa de Rodrigo Sobral Cunha, realizada no âmbito de um estágio na Editora e Livraria Portuguesa e Galega Orfeu, teve como principal objectivo responder a todas essas perguntas. Com base numa breve incursão teórica relativa ao texto filosófico, às suas características, à forma como diverge da separação clássica de texto técnico ou literário, sendo uma junção de ambos, e às implicações que essas características têm no processo de tradução, a tradução da obra de Rodrigo Sobral Cunha, em si, permitiu destacar uns processos e metodologias de tradução e de resolução de problemas ligados à mesma, adaptados à especificidade deste tipo de texto. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Translation has been tendentiously categorized in two groups: technical translation and literary translation. However, a specific type of text has been putting this systematic separation into perspective: the philosophical text. Presenting characteristics of both literary texts, due to its discursive style, and technical texts, with a strong presence of technical and specific vocabulary, the philosophical text appears as a hybrid between literary and technical texts. Therefore, what makes this text different from the generally identified translation typologies? Which are the implications of the translation of such a text? Which are the processes and methodologies underlying this translation? The translation of Rodrigo Sobral Cunha’s work Filosofia do Ritmo Portuguesa into French, carried out in the context of an internship at the Portuguese and Galician Publisher and Bookshop Orfeu, aimed at answering to all these questions. Based on a brief theoretical reflection regarding the philosophical text, its characteristics, the way it differs from the classic separation between technical and literary text, being a junction of both, and the implications of these characteristics in the translation process, the translation of Rodrigo Sobral Cunha’s work into French enabled the highlighting of processes and methodologies, both of translation and translation-related problems solving, adapted to the specificity of that kind of text. | pt_PT |
