Abstract(s)
O turismo tem sido um dos principais motores da economia portuguesa e uma das
principais áreas de investimento nacional e internacional. O aumento do interesse dos
investidores dá-se também devido à procura já que o destino Portugal tem obtido
reputação ao longo dos últimos anos e interesse de diversos mercados, em vários
segmentos.
Este trabalho visa contribuir para a criação de uma agência de viagens especializada em
turismo de luxo em Portugal. Neste contexto, foi realizada uma caracterização do tema
turismo de luxo, partindo do referencial teórico apoiado pela criação de um plano de
negócios.
O método utilizado foi a realização de inquéritos por questionário a profissionais
intervenientes da oferta de luxo em Portugal que dentro de um tema pouco explorado
como o turismo de luxo, o que permitiu obter insights relevantes acerca da sua oferta e
procura, os quais apoiados pelas projeções financeiras incluídas num plano de negócios
permitem reforçar o potencial e a tomada de decisão na implementação do negócio.
Os resultados do plano de negócios demonstram que o VAL (valor atualizado líquido) é
positivo e com o mesmo valor (66 242 euros) nas perspetivas de pré-financiamento e do
investidor, indicando que o projeto apresenta viabilidade económico-financeira.
Tourism has been one of the main drivers of the Portuguese economy and one of the main areas of national and international investment. The increase of investors' interest is also due to the increase of demand since Portugal has gained reputation over the last years and interest from several markets, in several segments. This work aims to contribute to start a travel agency specialized in luxury tourism in Portugal. In this context, it was carried out a characterization of the luxury tourism theme, starting from the theoretical framework supported by the creation of a business plan. The method used was the completion of questionnaire surveys to professionals involved in the luxury tourism offer in Portugal within a little explored theme such as luxury tourism, which allowed to obtain relevant insights about its supply and demand, which supported by the financial projections allow to strengthen the potential and decision making in the implementation of the business. The results of the business plan show that the NPV (net present value) is positive and with the same value (66 242 euros) in the pre-financing and investor perspective indicating the project is economically and financially viable.
