Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho tem como principal objetivo, observar a eficácia de uma
intervenção que envolve a implementação de algumas metodologias/estratégias na
realização de atividades programadas e desenvolvidas no contexto escolar, na valência
de Terapia da Fala.
A intervenção visou a promoção de competências comunicativas, linguísticas
e de fala de uma aluna inserida na problemática dos alunos com incapacidade no
domínio sensorial, por apresentarem surdez e limitações motoras e cognitivas associadas.
Desta realidade surgiu o tema deste trabalho, cuja pertinência se deve não só,
à necessidade emergente de aprofundar conhecimentos teóricos relativos às temáticas
da surdez e da multideficiência em geral, como também de descrever as principais
características, nomeadamente as limitações da aluna, de forma a comprovar
não só a necessidade de recursos humanos adequados à especificidade da problemática
apresentada, como também de implementar metodologias/estratégias diferenciadas
que favorecem o desenvolvimento de competências diversas.
Procedeu-se a um estudo de caso único, intrínseco e instrumental de uma
aluna, que frequenta o 5º ano de escolaridade, com medidas educativas previstas
pelo Decreto-Lei 3/2008. Do estudo consta, a descrição do contexto educativo e da
aluna. Para tal, foi necessário recorrer à realização de uma entrevista semiestruturada
dirigida à Encarregada de Educação e à análise de fontes documentais constantes
do processo educativo da aluna.
Os resultados da avaliação final refletem a eficácia do plano de intervenção,
dada a promoção de competências nos vários domínios, em articulação estrita e direta
com docentes de Educação Especial, formadores e intérpretes de Língua Gestual
Portuguesa.
The present work has as main objective to observe the effectiveness of an intervention that involves the implementation of some methods / strategies in the performance of activities planned and developed in the school context, under the scope of Speech Therapy. The intervention aimed to promote communication skills, language and speech of a student inserted in the issue of students with disabilities in the sensory realm, by presenting deafness and associated cognitive and motor limitations. From this reality emerged the theme of this work, whose relevance is due not only to the emerging need for further theoretical knowledge concerning issues of deafness and multiple disabilities in general, but also to describe the main features, including the limitations of the student, in order to demonstrate not only the need for adequate human resources in the area of the specific issue presented, as well as to implement methodologies / differentiated strategies that favor the development of diverse skills. In this order was proceeded a single case study, intrinsic and instrumental, of a student who attends the 5th grade with educational measures provided by the Decree-Law 3/2008. This study performs a description of the student and his educational context, for what was necessary the conduction of a semi-structured interview addressed to the student´s educational tutor, as well as the analysis of the documentary sources listed in the educational process. The final assessment results reflect the effectiveness of the intervention plan, given the promotion of skills in various fields, in conjunction with strict and direct Special Education teachers, trainers and Portuguese Sign Language Interpreters.
