Abstract(s)
A educação de infância assume-se como o nível educativo que abrange os
contextos de creche e educação pré-escolar. Deste modo, este relatório surge
no âmbito da prática pedagógica realizada em contexto de estágio nestas duas
valências, encontrando-se integrada no mestrado profissionalizante em
Educação Pré-escolar do ano letivo 2014/2015.
Focando a sua atenção na imagem de criança e no desenvolvimento das suas
competências profissionais ao longo deste período de formação, a mestranda
descreve e analisa os processos e atividades desenvolvidos em contexto de
estágio à luz de um quadro teórico e legal que lhe permitiu desenvolver a sua
práxis, definindo o seu perfil pedagógico.
Encarando a criança como um ser competente, ativo e participativo na
coconstrução do seu conhecimento, há que atribuir ao educador o papel de
mediador no apoio a uma voz ativa e democrática por parte da criança,
colocando-a no centro das prioridades educativas.
Ao longo de todo este percurso de aprendizagem, importa ainda atribuir
destaque às estratégias formativas que estiveram na base do desenvolvimento
de competências profissionais da formanda, uma vez que estas lhe
proporcionaram um olhar intencional sobre as emergências da prática e uma
postura reflexiva acerca de aspetos e dimensões pedagógicas centrais no
processo de desenvolvimento da criança.
Childhood education is as the educational level that covers the contexts of day care and pre-school education. In this sense, this report comes into light regarding the pedagogical practice in these two valences performed in an internship context, integrated on the professional Master’s Degree in preschool education in 2014/2015 school year. Focusing her attention on the image of the child and on the development of her professional skills throughout this training period, the graduate student describes and analyses the processes and activities developed during the internship, under the light of a theoretical and legal framework that allowed her to develop her praxis, defining her own pedagogical profile. By facing the child as a competent, active and engaged being in the co-building of its knowledge, it is necessary to give to the educator the role of mediator in the support of an active and democratic voice of the child, placing the children at the center of the educational priorities. Throughout this learning journey, it is important to emphasize the training strategies that were the foundation of the development of the graduate student’s professional skills, since these provided her a knowledgeable insight on the practice urgencies, and a reflective attitude regarding central aspects and dimensions of the child development process.
