Partindo da desconexão crescente entre a música erudita contemporânea e o público, a presente monografia pretende identificar alguns dos princípios na base deste fenómeno, assim como explorar estratégias interdisciplinares para uma facilitada comunicação das obras em questão. O projeto artístico The never born daughter of Einstein, resulta das reflexões desta monografia e inclui, através de um diálogo interdisciplinar, estratégias que incidem na facilitada receção de estruturas musicais. O seu processo de criação é detalhado, pretendendo estabelecer uma base sólida para a discussão alargada da criação e receção da música erudita contemporânea.
Departing from the growing disconnect between contemporary classical music and the public, this monograph aims to identify some of the principles underlying this phenomenon, as well as to explore interdisciplinary strategies for the communication of these works. The artistic project The Never Born Daughter of Einstein, derives from the reflections of this monograph and includes, through an interdisciplinary dialogue, strategies that promote a facilitated reception of musical structures. His creation process is detailed, aiming to lay a solid foundation for the broad discussion of the creation and reception of contemporary erudite music.
