Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho reflecte o desenvolvimento de um projecto de
investigação posicionado metodologicamente na Investigação-Acção
Participativa, com vista à melhoria das condições e qualidade de vida das
pessoas idosas. A utilização de vários métodos e técnicas permitiu ao
investigador, em conjunto com as pessoas, recolher e analisar a informação
de onde emergiram vários problemas. Após ter sido feita a análise da
realidade, o processo de desenvolvimento do projecto envolveu a priorização
de problemas e necessidades para as quais foi delineado um projecto de
intervenção onde, a partir das acções que integram um conjunto de
actividades, se procurou alcançar os objectivos estabelecidos. Este projecto
assentou, sobretudo, na acção educativa da Educação Social numa dimensão
de Educação para a Cidadania, uma vez que procurou que os idosos
reflectissem sobre os seus problemas e, de forma autónoma, se organizassem
para lhes dar resolução. Acima de tudo, contribuiu para o envolvimento dos
idosos na resolução de problemas institucionais e comunitários. É também
fundamental entender este projecto de investigação como um conjunto de
processos que contribuíram para a transformação pessoal dos envolvidos e,
ao mesmo tempo, como um trabalho em permanente construção.
The following work reflects the development of a research project positioned methodological in the participatory action research, with the purpose of improving the elderly conditions and quality of life. The use of several methods and techniques allowed the researcher, along with people, to gather and analyze the information from which several problems emerged. After the analysis of the reality, the project development involved the choice of problems and needs in which it was outlined an intervention project, from the actions that integrate a set of activities, the established objectives were trying to be achieved. This project was based, mostly, on the education basis of the Social Education, from Education to the Citizenship, as it helped the elderly to think about their problems and, autonomously, organize themselves to find solutions. This contribution was mainly to the elderly involvement in solving institutional and community problems. It is also important to understand this research project like a set of processes that have made a contribution in the personal transformation off all people involved and, at the same time it is defined as a work in permanent construction.
