Abstract(s)
Atualmente, o mercado tem-se tornado num meio cada vez mais concorrencial/competitivo e globalizado. Este facto tem levado à adoção de novas metodologias de gestão por parte das empresas, de maneira a ser criada uma vantagem competitiva. Para isso, as empresas focam-se na diminuição/eliminação de desperdícios, e viram a sua atenção para atividades que possam, eventualmente, vir a ser um incremento para a sua atividade. A elaboração deste trabalho consistiu na pesquisa bibliográfica do Lean Construction, mais especificamente, sobre a metodologia Kaizen Events, cuja função assenta na procura constante pela melhoria contínua, e por isso a procura constante do acréscimo de valor para a empresa. Posteriormente, é possível observar a implementação desta melhoria em dois casos práticos distintos, na área da fiscalização de obras, com o objetivo de propor melhorias sobre os processos em vigor por parte da empresa acolhedora onde foi realizado o estágio, a ENESCOORD – Coordenação e Gestão de Projetos e Obras, Lda. Uma futura eventual implementação de uma metodologia destas poderá ser tornada numa mais valia para a empresa, pois facilitará os processos de gestão da mesma.
Today, the market has become an increasingly competitive/competitive and globalized environment. This has led to the adoption of new management methodologies by companies, in order to create a competitive advantage. To this end, companies focus on reducing/eliminating waste, and have seen their attention to activities that may eventually be an increase in their activity. The elaboration of this work consisted of the bibliographical research of Lean Construction, more specifically, on the Kaizen Events methodology, whose function is based on the constant search for continuous improvement, and therefore the constant search for the increase of value for the company. Subsequently, it is possible to observe the implementation of this improvement in two different practical cases, in the area of supervision of constructions, with the objective of proposing improvements on the processes in force by the welcoming company where the internship was held, ENESCOORD - Coordination and Management of Projects and Works, Lda. A future implementation of such a methodology could be made an asset for the company, as it will facilitate the management processes of the same.
