| dc.description.abstract | O processo de Onboarding corresponde ao acolhimento e integração de novos colaboradores na entidade empregadora, com o intuito de os envolver. O principal objetivo da presente investigação consiste em compreender o papel do processo de Onboarding no sucesso ou no insucesso da inserção laboral de pessoas em situação de desemprego. De forma a alcançar este objetivo procurou-se perceber a perspetiva de pessoas numa situação de desemprego sobre se o processo de onboarding influenciou na efetivação ou não da sua empregabilidade. No presente estudo utilizou-se uma metodologia qualitativa, com recurso à técnica da entrevista semiestruturada para se proceder à recolha dos dados. Foram realizadas 20 entrevistas a indivíduos com idades compreendidas entre os 18 e os 64 anos, que tiveram uma integração laboral nos últimos 6 meses. A análise e o tratamento dos dados foram efetivados com recurso à análise de conteúdo e categorização da informação. Os resultados da investigação sugerem que o processo de onboarding influencia no processo de integração, na motivação e bem-estar dos recém-contratados. Mais concretamente, a questão do relacionamento com os colaboradores e com a chefia, bem como o esclarecimento bem efetivado das duas funções e tarefas. Estes fatores têm repercussão na efetivação da empregabilidade. No final da dissertação apresentam-se as conclusões gerais do estudo, as suas implicações, limitações, bem como sugestões para investigação futura. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The Onboarding process corresponds to the welcome and integration of new employees in the company, in order to involve them. The main objective of this research is to understand how the Onboarding process has an influence on the success or the failure when it comes to the labor insertion of people in an unemployment situation. In order to achieve this goal, it was sought to understand the perspective of people in an unemployment situation on whether the onboarding process influenced the effectiveness or non-effectiveness of their employability. In the present study, a qualitative methodology was utilized, using the semi-structured interview technique to collect the data. There were conducted 20 interviews with individuals, aged between 18 and 64 years, who had a work integration in the last 6 months. The data analysis and the treatment were performed using content analysis and with the categorization of information. The results of the research suggest that the onboarding process influences the integration process, motivation and well-being of new hires. More specifically, the most notable factors are the issues of the relationship with the employees and with the employers, as well as the effective clarification of the functions and tasks they are going to perform. These factors have repercussions on the effectiveness of employability. At the end of the thesis, it is present the general findings of the study, its implications, limitations, as well as suggestions for future research. | pt_PT |
