Abstract(s)
Face à grande transformação digital que caracteriza os dias da atualidade, a frase “sempre foi feito
desta maneira” perde cada vez mais força dentro das empresas. Aquilo que outrora seriam
verdades inquestionáveis são analisadas e reavaliadas procurando a eficiência dos processos, o não
desperdício de recursos e a máxima lucratividade. A transformação digital permitiu o escrutínio de
métodos que até então nunca tinham sido questionados ou repensados permitindo uma rápida
evolução dos modelos de negócio e, desta forma, trazer metodologias inovadoras que vieram
incrementar substancialmente a performance das empresas. Desta forma o mercado expõe as
empresas a um novo patamar de exigência forçando-as a uma constante atualização e digitalização
com vista no aumento da eficiência, produtividade e competitividade.
A presente dissertação foi realizada em ambiente empresarial e teve como principal objetivo a
melhoria do processo de gestão e análise de indicadores de vendas praticado pela empresa
SWOGO, utilizando a tecnologia de business intelligence desenvolvida pela empresa Microsoft, o
Power BI.
O principal objetivo proposto pela SWOGO, foi a construção de um dashboard que permitisse a
análise detalhada de indicadores de vendas e avaliação do desempenho da empresa, que constitui
uma ferramenta de auxilio na tomada de decisão.
A SWOGO, propôs como objetivo extra a aplicação de um modelo de previsão baseado em dados
históricos das vendas. Desta forma, permitiria a antecipação de comportamentos do mercado com
vista a uma gestão mais eficiente dos recursos e consequentemente o desenvolvimento de
estratégias mais adaptadas a cada cliente.
O dashboard desenvolvido para a empresa conta com a duas secções dinâmicas para monitorar
indicadores relativos a vendas e a faturação permitindo criar vários cenários de pesquisa adaptando
à necessidade do gestor ou analista. Este instrumento de gestão conta ainda com uma página para
visualização de novos indicadores criados a partir das necessidades transmitidas pela empresa e
com a possibilidade de avaliar e categorizar os websites dos clientes a partir desses indicadores.
Por fim, esta ferramenta, permite ainda aceder a uma aba para análise de previsão dando a
possibilidade de verificar a distribuição temporal das vendas e da faturação e a respetiva previsão
de cada um dos indicadores de acordo com o período que se definir.
Com esta ferramenta será expectável uma melhoria no processo de gestão e análise de dados para
além de um aumento da facilidade do acesso à informação e do posterior tratamento da mesma
de acordo com os resultados definidos pela empresa.

What were once unquestionable truths are being analyzed and re-evaluated in the pursuit of process efficiency, non waste, and maximum profitability. The digital transformation has made it possible to scrutinize methods that until then had never been questioned or rethought, allowing business models to evolve rapidly and thus bringing innovative methodologies that have substantially increased company performance. In this way, the market is exposing companies to a new level of demand, forcing them to constantly update and digitize in order to increase efficiency, productivity and competitiveness. The main objective of this dissertation was to improve the process of managing and analyzing sales indicators practiced by the SWOGO company, using the business intelligence technology developed by Microsoft, Power BI. The main objective proposed by SWOGO would be to build a dashboard that would allow detailed analysis of sales indicators and evaluation of the performance of its customers, which would constitute a tool to help the company make decisions. In addition to this, SWOGO proposed the extra objective of applying a forecasting model, based on historical sales data, which would allow market behavior to be anticipated with a view to managing resources more efficiently and devising more adapted strategies for each client. The dashboard developed for the company has two dynamic sections for monitoring indicators relating to sales and invoicing, allowing various research scenarios to be created and adapted to the needs of the manager or analyst. This management tool also has a page for viewing new indicators created based on the company's needs and the possibility of evaluating and categorizing customer websites based on these indicators. Finally, this tool also gives you access to a tab for forecast analysis, giving you the chance to check the time distribution of sales and invoicing and the respective forecast for each of the indicators according to the period you define. This tool is expected to improve the data management and analysis process, as well as making it easier to access and process information according to the results defined by the company.
