Abstract(s)
L’étude de la langue en relation avec les conditions extérieures montre que ces dernières
peuvent engendrer une importante variation dans le langage des gens. Ainsi, nos
prédécesseurs dans ce domaine ont considéré l’histoire, la géographie, le contexte social, le
contexte de communication et le canal de communication, comme les principaux facteurs de
variation. Cette étude rappelle ces différents facteurs et démontre en même temps que les
aptitudes biologiques peuvent également constituer un facteur pertinent de variation. 3
