Esta redução será verificada pelo cumprimento do On Time Delivery (OTD).
The proposed project consisted in carrying out the studies and definitions required to prepare an integrated production planning process in the Efacec Automation business unit, using the best practices, with the goal of achieving operational excellence and eliminating delays in production. Relevance was given to the forecast made at the commercial proposal stage. For that, a study of forecasting methods was carried out, as well as a study of the current ASE processes, allowing to identify and suggest improvement measures with the aim to reduce equipment delivery time. After defining the method to be applied, the specification of the new forecast module, Forecast, was elaborated. The selected forecast method was a combination of the following methods: the statistical probability of a future event (defined in each proposal by the commercial manager), the monthly sales forecast of each product calculated based on the sales of the last three years (time series analysis) and the sales trends for the current year (qualitative). The new forecast module will be integrated into the existing uQuotes software and used by the sales team to elaborate proposals for customers. The Forecast will generate the table of requirements considering the equipment of each proposal, being possible to do the mapping between each requirement and the proposal that gave rise to it. Forecast will also update the ERP forecast table with the requirements for the next three months, which will allow the purchase of the components of the item present in the requirements table in a timely manner, thus reducing the delivery time of the equipment. This reduction will be verified by compliance of the OTD. Due to Efacec's decision to change ERP software from BaaN to SAP, midway through this project, it was not possible to verify the improvement in delivery times. However, to control the future implementation process, which will take place in 2020, a detailed plan was implemented to follow it.
