Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho visa complementar a edificação sustentável e a eficiência energética de três centros escolares do Município de Penafiel. Estes edifícios são idênticos entre si, o que facilitou a análise da sua eficiência energética. Para definir as estratégias a implementar, é necessário realizar estudos dos edifícios escolares, abordar os utilizadores de cada centro escolar, estudar os seus hábitos, quais os equipamentos em funcionamento e verificar a existência, ou não, da utilização de fontes de energia renovável. Os painéis solares para aquecimento são sistemas de produção de energia em forma de calor, através da utilização da luz solar. Esta energia proveniente de fonte renovável é uma energia considerada “limpa” devido à reduzida emissão de gases poluentes. Como algumas das escolas em estudo possuem painéis solares, instalados aquando da sua construção recente, e estes sistemas não se encontram em funcionamento ou têm algumas anomalias, foi proposto a realização de um estudo para avaliar a possível energia a ser poupada se estes equipamentos estiverem a funcionar corretamente. Estes painéis, sendo bem dimensionados e utilizados poderão beneficiar os centros escolares a nível energético, contribuindo para a redução da fatura energética.
This work complements the sustainable building and energy efficiency of three schools in the municipality of Penafiel. These buildings are identical to each other, which may facilitate the analysis of their energy efficiency. In order to define the strategies to be implemented, it is necessary to study the school buildings, to study the elements in them, to study the habits of their occupants, which equipment is in operation and to verify the existence or not of possible sources of renewable energy. Solar panels are systems for producing energy in the form of heat, through the use of sunlight. This energy from renewable sources is considered "clean" due to the low emission of polluting gases. Since some of the schools under study have solar panels installed during their recent construction, and these systems are not in operation or with some anomalies, a study was proposed to evaluate the possible energy to be saved if these operate adequately. These panels, to be well used, according to their installed power and maintenance can benefit the schools at the energy level, contributing to the reduction of their energy bill and thus save in value.
