Abstract(s)
No entanto, estes profissionais admitem enfrentar
do tempo.
melhoria.
The present investigation aims to explore the relationships established between work and personal life among Generation Z employees. Specifically, it aims to understand how professional and personal lives influence each other, identify organizational practices that meet the interests of Generation Z, analyze the priorities given to work and/or personal life, and explore the importance of performing multiple roles across generational diversity. A qualitative approach was chosen for this study, utilizing semi structured interviews as the data collection technique. A total of 17 interviews were conducted with Human Resources professionals from Generation Z, and data analysis was performed using content analysis methods. The results demonstrated the relevance and satisfaction of an organization that promotes work-life balance, where flexible working hours and work arrangements are crucial in providing greater freedom in managing professional demands and other commitments. The results also suggest that the bidirectional relationship between professional and personal life is influenced by the significant need for a satisfactory balance between both spheres. However, these professionals acknowledge facing some challenges in balancing their responsibilities due to heavy workloads and time management issues. Finally, the results clearly show Generation Z's significant interest in ensuring that professional life occupies only a part of their lives, allowing them to meet their personal needs compared to previous generations. The practical and theoretical implications of the results have been meticulously analyzed, followed by potential avenues for future research and suggestions for improvement.
