A Qualidade e o respeito pelo meio ambiente são partes integrantes da gestão da Gamobar S.A. refletindo-se sobre todas as suas componentes. Uma vez que a organização já se encontra certificada pela NP EN ISO 9001:2008, a Gamobar S.A entende estar na altura de implementar um Sistema de Gestão Ambiental.
O SGA representa a concretização do ciclo de melhoria contínua e do bom desempenho ambiental, o qual inclui requisitos e procedimentos destinados a atingir a plena eficiência. Trata-se de uma ferramenta utilizada para organizar e direcionar as ações de carácter ambiental que tem como principal objetivo identificar e avaliar níveis de incidências ambientais relevantes, estabelecer metas de melhoria e dirigir as operações no sentido de atingir essas metas, sempre em conformidade com a legislação em vigor.
No fundo, o objetivo da gestão ambiental é preservar os recursos naturais, limitar a emissão de poluentes e os impactes ambientais e promover a segurança no local de trabalho.
Quality and the respect for the Environment are integrated parts of Gamobar SA management, being present in all its components. Once the organization is already certified by the NP EN ISO 9001:2008, Gamobar S.A. believes this is the right time to implement an Environmental Management System. The Environmental Management System represents the achievement of the cycle of continuous improvement, in which it includes requirements and procedures designated to reach full efficiency. It is about a tool used to organize and direct actions of environmental dominion that has as main goal identifying and assessing levels of relevant environmental incidences, establishing targets of improvement and directing operations in order to reach those targets, always in accordance with legislation in force. Fundamentally, the goal of Environmental Management aims to preserve natural resources, restricting the pollutants emission and promote security in working place.
