Abstract(s)
This Report covers the activities developed at the Conservatório de Música do Porto, in the academic year 2018/2019, within the scope of the annual curricular unit Prática Educativa Supervisionada of Educational Practice in Instrument Teaching - Clarinet. Through a proposal to implement strategies for learning some expansive techniques in the clarinet, I proposed to develop a research project focusing on the music of the 21th century and its sound approaches. For this purpose, three works by composers Diogo Alvim, Miguel Azguime and Nuno Peixoto de Pinho (including always the clarinet in a solitary circumstance) were considered to be suitable for secondary school students, primary sources that, in the context of a study of qualitative methodological model were the object of a comparative study and analysis of the elements of musical-interpretative content. The results of this project point to the relevance of the learning of students of Specialized Music Teaching in the sense of earlier contact with new music languages of their time and better technical and interpretive preparation for a possible future career as professional musicians.
