| dc.description.abstract | Numa sociedade onde as correntes migraƧƵes desenham um novo contexto de sociabilizaĆ§Ć£o e onde a globalizaĆ§Ć£o conduz ao aumento incomensurĆ”vel das reuniƵes interculturais, Ć© fulcral recentrar a importĆ¢ncia do ensino da interpretaĆ§Ć£o dita de comunidade. A inauguraĆ§Ć£o do Mestrado em TraduĆ§Ć£o e InterpretaĆ§Ć£o Especializadas, no ano lectivo de 2007/2008, no Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e AdministraĆ§Ć£o do Porto, reformulado a partir da Licenciatura Bi-EtĆ”pica homĆ³nima, veio apresentar um desenho dos curricula em InterpretaĆ§Ć£o cujo entendimento Ć© mais pragmĆ”tico. Assim sendo, Ć tradicional divisĆ£o entre InterpretaĆ§Ć£o SimultĆ¢nea e InterpretaĆ§Ć£o Consecutiva sucedeu a introduĆ§Ć£o das unidades curriculares de InterpretaĆ§Ć£o de ConferĆŖncia, InterpretaĆ§Ć£o Remota e de TeleconferĆŖncia e de InterpretaĆ§Ć£o de Acompanhamento. Este estudo pretende apresentar e discutir as diferentes abordagens pedagĆ³gicas ensaiadas no decorrer da implementaĆ§Ć£o da unidade curricular de InterpretaĆ§Ć£o de Acompanhamento, sustentadas por uma reflexĆ£o de cariz cientĆfico-pedagĆ³gico, filtrada pelas tendĆŖncias de investigaĆ§Ć£o mais recentes nesta Ć”rea. AdoptĆ”mos a designaĆ§Ć£o de InterpretaĆ§Ć£o de Acompanhamento para descrever uma situaĆ§Ć£o comunicativa que decorre em contextos variados e heterogĆ©neos, em detrimento de outras designaƧƵes de abrangĆŖncia mais restrita, como InterpretaĆ§Ć£o de Liaison ā que remete para um acompanhamento em contexto de negĆ³cios ou de visita cultural ou turĆstica ā e InterpretaĆ§Ć£o de Comunidade ā reportando-se Ć mediaĆ§Ć£o linguĆstica de alguĆ©m que nĆ£o fala a linguagem da maioria, normalmente no Ć¢mbito judicial, social, ou de saĆŗde. Concentraremos, por conseguinte, a nossa atenĆ§Ć£o nas questƵes que se seguem: Que estratĆ©gias pedagĆ³gicas melhor se adaptam ao ensino desta disciplina? Como reproduzir a heterogeneidade dos contextos comunicativos que a InterpretaĆ§Ć£o de Acompanhamento envolve numa sala de aula? Que ponderaĆ§Ć£o deve assumir o desempenho linguĆstico em comparaĆ§Ć£o com as competĆŖncias de mediaĆ§Ć£o intercultural? Como integrar, na prĆ”tica, conceitos e teorias no domĆnio da InterpretaĆ§Ć£o de Acompanhamento? | por |
| dc.description.abstract | In a society where the migration paths design a new socialization context and where globalization leads to an unfathomable rise of the intercultural meetings, itās important to refocus the importance of community interpreting training. The release of the Masterās in Specialized Translation and Interpreting in 2007/2008 at the Institute of Accounting and Administration of Oporto, based on the homonymous five-year degree, presented a curricula design in Interpreting with a far more pragmatic understanding. Thus, to the traditional division between Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpreting succeeded the introduction of the disciplines of Conference Interpreting, Remote and Teleconference Interpreting and Liaison Interpreting. The purpose of this essay is to present and discuss different pedagogical approaches tried out during the implementation of the discipline of Liaison Interpreting, based on a scientific/pedagogic reflection, filtered by the most recent tendencies of investigation in this area. The designation āInterpretaĆ§Ć£o de Acompanhamentoā (Liaison Interpreting) was adopted by us to describe a communicative situation which takes place in heterogeneous and diverse contexts, in detriment of other designations of a more restrict sense like Escort / Ad Hoc Interpreting ā which tend to lead us to a business or cultural or even touristic area of influence ā and Community Interpreting - reporting to the linguistic mediation of someone that do not speak the language of the majority, usually in a legal, social or health scope. Therefore, we will be focusing our attention in the following questions: Which pedagogical strategies are best adapted to the teaching of this discipline? How to reproduce the heterogeneity of the communicative contexts that Liaison Interpreting involves inside a class room? In comparison with the intercultural mediation skills, what importance should the linguistic performance assume? How to teach concepts and theories to the Liaison Interpreting area of expertise? | por |
