O presente relatório insere-se no âmbito do estágio curricular do Mestrado em Business
Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), tendo como principal objetivo a implementação de uma
solução de Business Intelligence (BI) na empresa Oneshop, grupo do setor automóvel
português responsável pela importação e assistência de veículos das marcas Ford Trucks,
Mazda e Volkswagen Veículos Comerciais. Através da utilização da plataforma Apache
Superset, procurou-se desenvolver dashboards interativos que possibilitem uma análise
eficaz da informação e apoiem a tomada de decisão estratégica, promovendo
simultaneamente a eficiência e a transparência nos processos operacionais da
organização.
A solução proposta assentou na centralização e integração de dados provenientes de
múltiplas fontes internas, nomeadamente históricos de manutenção, contratos de garantia
e informações operacionais dos veículos. Foram definidos e monitorizados Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevantes para o negócio, com o intuito de avaliar o
desempenho da empresa e facilitar a atuação proativa por parte do departamento
Customer Loyalty Team (CLT).
A metodologia adotada compreendeu, numa primeira fase, a modelação e normalização
da base de dados, assegurando a coerência, consistência e qualidade dos dados.
Posteriormente, procedeu-se ao desenvolvimento de dashboards dinâmicos na plataforma
Apache Superset, com vista à disponibilização de indicadores analíticos de fácil
interpretação e elevada utilidade prática, acessíveis a todos os intervenientes no processo
de tomada de decisão.
A aplicação da solução de BI permitiu melhorar a eficiência operacional e apoiar decisões
mais informadas na Oneshop. Os dashboards desenvolvidos possibilitaram o
acompanhamento em tempo real de indicadores chave, como as manutenções inteligentes
e os contratos de garantia, reforçando a transparência e a capacidade analítica da
organização.
This report is part of the curricular internship for the Master's Degree in Business Intelligence & Analytics and aims to implement a Business Intelligence (BI) solution at the company Oneshop, a Portuguese automotive group responsible for the import and maintenance of vehicles from the Ford Trucks, Mazda, and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brands. Using the Apache Superset platform, the project focused on developing interactive dashboards that enable effective data analysis and support strategic decisionmaking, while simultaneously promoting efficiency and transparency in the organization's operational processes. The proposed solution was based on the centralization and integration of data from multiple internal sources, namely maintenance histories, warranty contracts, and operational information related to the vehicle fleet. Relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were defined and monitored to evaluate the company's performance and support proactive actions by the Customer Loyalty Team (CLT). The adopted methodology included, in a first phase, the modeling and normalization of the database, ensuring the coherence, consistency, and quality of the data. Subsequently, dynamic dashboards were developed using Apache Superset, with the aim of delivering analytical indicators that are easily interpretable and of high practical relevance, accessible to all decision-making stakeholders. The implementation of the Business Intelligence solution improved operational efficiency and supported more informed decision-making at Oneshop. The dashboards developed enabled real-time monitoring of key indicators, such as intelligent maintenance actions and warranty contracts, enhancing transparency and the organization’s analytical capability
