O setor da construção civil é, indubitavelmente, um setor muito competitivo. Desta forma é necessário que exista uma melhoria continua nas empresas de construção, para que consigam acompanhar a evolução do mercado da construção. Uma empresa de construção tornar-se-á mais competitiva, quanto maior for o nível de detalhe que consiga implementar no planeamento e no controlo das empreitadas. O tema desenvolvido neste relatório vai ao encontro da procura de maior competitividade da empresa acolhedora do estágio curricular. Durante a execução de uma empreitada é, muitas vezes, necessário recorrer à utilização de mão de obra paga por hora de trabalho. Será analisado no presente trabalho as principais características da contratação de recursos de mão de obra paga por hora de trabalho, assim como as suas vantagens e desvantagens. O principal objetivo do presente trabalho foi o desenvolvimento de um sistema que permita a avaliação e a monitorização do recurso à mão de obra paga por hora de trabalho, baseado em dados de obras executadas e em execução, tirando partido da inserção em ambiente empresarial no grupo ACA.

The theme developed in this report is in line with the search for greater competitiveness of the company hosting the curricular internship. During the execution of a contract, it is often necessary to use labor paid per hour of work. This paper will analyze the main characteristics of hiring labor resources paid per hour of work, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. The main objective of this work was the development of a system that allows the evaluation and monitoring of the use of labor paid by the hour of work, based on data from works executed and in progress, taking advantage of the insertion in a business environment in the ACA group.
