Este trabalho está a ser realizado no âmbito da obtenção do Mestrado em Ensino de Inglês no 1º Ciclo de Ensino Básico onde o objetivo é explorar a conexão entre os 1.º e 2.º Ciclos básicos de aprendizagem.
O documento tem como título “A transição e as mudanças entre o 1.º e 2.º ciclos de escolaridade com foco nos alunos e docência” onde se procura aprofundar o tema da passagem de ciclos escolares, nomeadamente a passagem do 1.º Ciclo para o 2.º Ciclo de Ensino e com especial enfoque no tema como a interdisciplinaridade para o ensino, e outros temas como a disparidade de conhecimentos relativa à mudança de ciclo, tanto como, a dificuldade de adaptação dos alunos a esta transição. Tudo se projetará em diferentes fases de observação, escrita e análise com o propósito de recolher dados para chegar aos meus objetivos finais de trabalho.
Dentre esses apresentam-se as expectativas dos alunos consoante a mudança de ciclo comparando-os com a realidade, através de diversas pesquisas e aprofundamento sobre o tema em questão, as visões de docentes perante estas mudanças escolares e a interdisciplinaridade como ferramenta e apoio à aprendizagem e como a interdisciplinaridade está presente nos meios de ensino-aprendizagem.
Os recursos a serem explorados no tratamento de dados que estarão presentes neste documento serão a análise qualitativa e quantitativa, a análise documental através de pesquisas de documentos e conhecimentos sobre o tema de estudo, a realização de inquéritos e desenvolvimento de focus groups, a docentes e alunos, respetivamente. Seguido destes, espera-se a formação de perspetivas e conclusões pertinentes para dar resposta aos objetivos e questões desenvolvidas e pensadas em prol deste tema.
This work is being conducted as part of the master's degree in Teaching the English Language in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, with the aim of exploring the connection between the 1st and 2nd cycles of basic learning. The document is entitled “The transition and changes between the 1st and 2nd cycles of schooling with a focus on students and teaching”, and it seeks to deepen the study of the transition between school cycles, namely from the 1st to the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education. It places particular emphasis on topics such as interdisciplinarity in teaching, the disparity of knowledge associated with the changes between school cycles, and the difficulties students face in adapting to this transition. The project will be developed through various phases such as observation, analysis, and writing, with the purpose of gathering data to meet the final objectives of the study. Among the aims is the comparison between students' expectations regarding the change to the 2º cycle and the reality they experience, through various research efforts and a deeper exploration of the subject. The study also includes the perspectives of teachers on these educational changes and examines interdisciplinarity both as a tool to support learning and as it is applied in teaching and learning environments. The data collection methods to be used in this document include document analysis through qualitative and quantitative research and review of literature related to the topic, as well as the implementation of surveys and the development of focus groups with teachers and students, respectively. These will be followed by the construction of relevant perspectives and conclusions, aiming to address the objectives and research questions created for this topic. Keywords:
