Abstract(s)
Os dados que serviram como caso de estudo para a concretização desta dissertação foram
fornecidos por uma empresa da área alimentar, mais concretamente no setor da indústria de
panificação e pastelaria. A mesma armazena os dados da sua operação num ERP, incluindo os
dados das vendas.
A informação resultante das vendas torna-se relevante para a melhoria do desempenho da área
comercial, assim como para outras áreas. A análise dessa informação serve de apoio ao
processo de tomada de decisões operacionais e estratégicas.
Foram elaborados uma série de indicadores acerca dos comerciais, produtos e clientes, que
possibilitam retirar conclusões como a variação da quantidade de uma categoria de produtos,
que produtos são adquiridos pelos clientes, qual o volume de vendas de um comercial ou de
uma determinada equipa de comerciais, que tipos de produtos são mais vendidos, entre outras.
Foi desenvolvida uma solução centralizada de Business Intelligence com dados obtidos de um
cubo de vendas, com uma boa performance e dados confiáveis. A solução está preparada de
forma a receber futuras atualizações e melhorias.
Foram desenvolvidos e disponibilizados alguns dashboards que permitem aos utilizadores
realizarem análises acerca das categorias de produtos, clientes, tipos de cliente, produtos por
cliente, localizações, comerciais e equipas.
Para finalizar, para avaliar o sistema desenvolvido, foram realizados teste unitários e elaborado
um inquérito de satisfação aos utilizadores. Com base nos resultados obtidos, a solução
implementada cumpre os objetivos inicialmente definidos
The data that served as a case study for the realization of this dissertation were provided by a food company, more specifically in the bakery and pastry industry. It stores your operation data in an ERP, including sales data. The resulting sales information becomes relevant for the improvement of the performance of the commercial area, as well as for other areas. The analysis of this information supports the process of making operational and strategic decisions. A series of indicators were elaborated about the salespersons, products, and customers, which make it possible to draw conclusions such as the variation of the quantity of a category of products, which products are purchased by customers, what the sales volume of a salesperson or a particular team of salespersons, which types of products are sold, among others. A centralized Business Intelligence solution was developed with data obtained from a sales cube, with good performance and reliable data. The solution is prepared to receive future updates and improvements. Some dashboards have been developed and made available to allow users to perform analyses about product categories, customers, customer types, products per customer, locations, salespersons, and teams. Finally, to evaluate the developed system, a unit test was performed, and a user satisfaction survey was conducted.
