Abstract(s)
O Sector de Energia Elétrica está em constante evolução e torna-se importante estudá-lo com
cuidado. O anterior regime de monopólio passou por um processo de completa
desverticalização das várias etapas da cadeia de energia: desde a produção à comercialização.
Apenas o transporte e distribuição de energia elétrica permaneceram em regime de concessão
de uma única entidade. Destas alterações, surgiram os mercados de energia elétrica
liberalizados. Devido à constante transformação deste sector, observou-se o aparecimento de
diversos simuladores de mercados elétricos, que permitem um estudo aprofundado e realista
de várias situações. No entanto, ainda não existe um simulador que permita unir a simulação
de mercados elétricos com a simulação de redes elétricas. Para permitir simulações mais
abrangentes e poderosas, surgiu este projeto.
Este trabalho tem por objetivo desenvolver uma aplicação que permita a criação e edição de
redes elétricas, e que interligue as funcionalidades de um simulador de mercados elétricos com
algoritmos de análise do trânsito de potências, permitindo assim aliar a perspetiva económica
e a gestão técnica dos sistemas elétricos.
Neste documento são descritos os simuladores de mercados já existentes, bem como
ferramentas que permitem detetar constrangimentos na rede e, como meio para atingir o
objetivo principal, estudadas quais as melhores ferramentas para construção de uma aplicação
que satisfaça o pretendido. São descritos, também, vários casos de estudo que não só ilustram
e explicam o uso correto da aplicação como também permitem validar a aplicação e a
usabilidade da sua interface gráfica.
Por fim, são elaboradas conclusões sobre os resultados do trabalho, realçando todos os
objetivos atingidos e linhas de evolução futura.
The Eletric Power Industry is evolving, and has become very important to study it carefully. The previous regime went through a complete liberalization process of the various stages of the energy chain, from production to marketing. Only the transportation and distribution of electricity remained under concession of a single entity. Of these amendments, emerged liberalised electricity markets. Due to the constant transformation of this sector, it was observed the appearance of various electrical markets simulators, which allow an in-depth study and realistic situations. However, there is not yet a simulator that allows simulation of electric markets together with the simulation of electrical networks. To enable more comprehensive and powerful simulations, this project began. This project has as its main goal the development of an application that provides a graphical user interface to define eletrical networks (both creating and editing), to connect to the electrical market simulator with power flow algorithms, allowing to ally the economical perspective and the technical management of eletric systems. In this work are studied the existing electrical market simulators, as well as tools of Power Flows which allows to detect problems in the network. Also, as a way to reach the main goal, are studied which are the best tools to create an interface that satisfy the requirements. To validate the solution, case studies are described. These not only show the best way to use the application but also shows the success of it’s construction. At the end, a conclusion about this work results is made, with the purpose of validate if all goals are reached, enhancing future evolution paths.
