Abstract(s)
This Master's dissertation combines two essential components of training in Music Teaching: a report on Supervised Teaching Practice (SSP) and research into the impact of specific pedagogical practices on the development of young musicians. The first chapter (“Music Practice Observation Guide”) introduces the educational institution where the internship took place, showing its Educational Project and the matrices used. The next chapter (entitled “Supervised Teaching Practice”) includes the report on all the activities carried out during the internship (lesson observation reports, planning and observation of extracurricular activities), the teachers' opinions and a reflection on the whole experience. The last part of this dissertation, the third chapter, consists of the “Research Project”, developed around the importance that regular practice of “Sight Reading” and ‘Improvisation’ exercises can have on the evolution and construction of violinists' musical “Creativity”. All the results obtained are the result of a study carried out with some students, culminating in the preparation of a questionnaire addressed to students and teachers with the aim of analyzing the changes seen after developing this practice for a few weeks. Through this “Research Project”, it can be seen that the exercises implemented had a positive impact on the growth of the violinists. The students' greatest difficulties have been defined and suggestions for improving the exercises have been listed, and at the end there is a reflection in which I share my point of view on the results.
