A tribologia desempenha um papel fulcral no estudo de contactos entre os mais variados materiais e sob as mais diversas condições de funcionamento. As melhorias dos produtos e os seus desempenhos encontram-se muitas vezes dependentes dos resultados obtidos em testes laboratoriais. Este trabalho consiste no projeto de um equipamento de testes do tipo pino-disco. O dispositivo permite realizar ensaios tribológicos entre dois materiais distintos com cargas até 200 N e velocidades até 3 m/s.
Tribology has a fundamental role in the study of contacts between the most varied materials and under the most diverse operating conditions.
