El presente artículo pretende recuperar uno de los trabajos más emblemáticos del
novelista y guionista español Rafael Azcona. Se prestará especial atención a la realidad
social plasmada en la novela El Pisito, realidad que, según creo, nos permite trazar un
impresionante paralelismo entre los hechos narrados, ubicados en el difícil contexto
histórico de los años cincuenta, y las circunstancias actuales de severa crisis social y
económica.
This essay aims at recovering one of the most emblematic works of Spanish novelist and screenplay writer Rafael Azcona. Special attention shall be paid to the social reality portrayed in the novel El Pisito, a reality that, according to my viewpoint, allows us to establish an impressing parallelism between the narrated events, which are set in the difficult historical context of the 1950s, and the current circumstances of severe social and economic crisis.
