A presente dissertação foi realizada no âmbito da unidade curricular de
Dissertação/Projeto/Estágio, do Mestrado em Comunicação Audiovisual - Fotografia e
Cinema Documental, na Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design do Instituto Politécnico
do Porto (ESMAD IPP).
Motivada por uma série de questões pessoais sobre a noção que temos de casa
que surge, naturalmente, da numerosa quantidade de casas habitadas ao longo dos
anos, o presente ensaio serve de base teórica à concretização do projeto autobiográfico
A Casa Imaginada. Ao longo deste trabalho tenta-se reconhecer a ideia de casa através
das suas representações principais de intimidade, memória e identidade, entre outras.
Recorrendo a vários autores e a várias leituras sobre o tema tentamos transmitir uma
ideia pessoal que se constrói e transforma ao longo do próprio trabalho. Os realizadores
e filmes abordados aproximam-nos também do nosso objetivo desde uma perspetiva
mais sensorial.
O ponto de partida para esta investigação, sendo ela autobiográfica, são as casas
a que ainda hoje temos acesso e a partir das quais podemos relembrar muitas outras.
Por isso, ao longo do trabalho serão retratadas e descortinadas a Casa de Agora, a Casa
dos Avós (ou a primeira casa de que temos memória) e a Casa imaginada.
Através do ensaio pretendemos também melhor compreender o nosso papel na
área do cinema e de que forma se poderá corporizar através deste o que imaginamos
interiormente.
This dissertation was written for the subject Dissertação/Projeto/Estágio course, of the Mestrado em Comunicação Audiovisual - Fotografia e Cinema Documental, na Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design do Instituto Politécnico do Porto (ESMAD IPP). Motivated by a series of personal questions about our notion of home, which naturally arises from the large number of houses inhabited over the years, this essay serves as a theoretical basis for the realization of our autobiographical project, A Casa Imaginada. During the essay recognize the idea of home through its main representations of intimacy, memory and identity, among others. Using various authors and various readings on the subject, we try to communicate a personal idea that is built and transformed throughout the work itself. The directors and films mentioned during the essay can help to get us closer to our goal from a more sensorial perspective. The starting point for this investigation, since it is autobiographical, are the houses that are still part of our life and so we still have access and from which we can remember many others. Therefore we try to portrayed, Casa de Agora, Casa dos Avós (or the first house we remember) and Casa Imginada. Throughout the essay, we also intend to better understand our role in the field of cinema and how we can embody what we internally imagine through cinema.
