Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de estágio visa descrever a minha experiência na Casa da
Música enquanto estagiária no Departamento de Produção Técnica - Vídeo, no âmbito
da Unidade Curricular de Dissertação/Projeto/Estágio do Mestrado em Cinema e
Fotografia – Especialização em Cinema Documental e Experimental. Ao longo de 6
meses foi-me dada a oportunidade de explorar a forma como a música e a imagem
dialogam através do desenvolvimento de projetos práticos, nos quais irei basear a minha
investigação teórica.
Tendo a escuta como base, pude perceber diferentes aspetos da música, da
imagem e do diálogo entre ambas no cinema, influenciando o modo como realizei as
minhas funções enquanto editora e diretora de fotografia. Deste modo, a minha
abordagem teórica irá incidir sob o papel da música como forma de expressão com
enfoque na imagética da mesma, explorando a ligação entre a música e a imagem.
Os conteúdos audiovisuais que foram produzidos ao longo do estágio tiveram
como pilar a Música, permitindo-me criar uma relação com o som que potenciou a
descoberta de diferentes estilos de montagem e de criação de narrativas.
Neste documento será feita uma breve contextualização da entidade acolhedora
assim como serão apresentados os diversos projetos que tive a oportunidade de integrar,
sendo analisado, em cada um deles, o papel da escuta, evidenciando a minha
metodologia de trabalho.
This internship report aims to describe my experience at Casa da Música as an intern in the Technical Production - Video Department, as part of the Dissertation/Project/Internship Curricular Unit of the Master's Degree in Cinema and Photography - Specialization in Documentary and Experimental Cinema. Over the course of 6 months, I was given the opportunity to explore how music and image dialogue through the development of practical projects, on which I will base my theoretical research. With listening as a basis, I was able to understand different aspects of music, image and the dialogue between the two in cinema, influencing the way I carried out my duties as editor and director of photography. In this way, my theoretical approach will be based on the role of music as a form of expression with a focus on its imagery, exploring the link between music and image. The audiovisual content produced during my internship was based on music, allowing me to create a relationship with sound that encouraged the discovery of different editing styles and the creation of narratives. In this document I will briefly contextualize the host entity and present the various projects I had the opportunity to take part in, analyzing the role of listening in each of them highlighting my working methodology.
