O tema desenvolvido neste projeto, o impacto do líder eficaz na produtividade das organizações, é fruto da vontade de desenvolver uma ferramenta de apoio aos líderes, para que, independentemente das qualidades que possuem, possam garantir o sucesso das organizações pelo aumento da produtividade. Nos últimos anos verificamos as transformações e adaptações no comportamento organizacional, no que toca à captação, motivação e retenção de talentos. Hoje deparamo-nos com uma sociedade que valoriza o seu bem-estar físico e emocional. As pessoas procuram empregos onde se sintam seguras, livres, valorizadas, envolvidas, motivadas, felizes e realizadas. Procuram empregos que, para além do trabalho, lhes permita tempo para si, para a família, para os amigos, para o descanso e lazer. Estas novas exigências do mercado de trabalho, obriga as organizações a ajustarem-se à realidade e adotar estratégias para alcançar esse desempenho, garantirem vantagem competitiva e o sucesso contínuo da empresa. A liderança torna-se o principal fator crítico para alcançar esse desempenho. Dessa forma, após explorar o tema proposto, uma pesquisa qualitativa do tipo descritiva e exploratória foi essencial para a elaboração da componente prática desta investigação. Através de questionários de várias áreas profissionais e diferentes empresas, conseguiu-se fomentar o objetivo deste estudo pela análise da importância de uma cultura de satisfação e motivação das equipas para alcançar a eficácia organizacional, através de uma prática de liderança baseada nos 5 princípios da filosofia da liderança lean. Através da análise estatística das hipóteses apresentadas para o modelo de liderança desenvolvido obteve-se uma percentagem de afirmação acima dos 90% para todas as hipóteses à exceção da hipótese que afirma o líder impacta positivamente a organização com 63,4% de concordância.
The main subject of this project, the impact of efficient leader in the productivity of organizations, is the result of a desire to develop a supportive tool to our leaders. Even if they do not have all the skills that are mentioned on past investigations, for sure they can assure the success of organizations by increasing productivity. In the past years, we have seen many changes in the organizational behavior, in terms of attracting, motivate and retaining talent. Today we are faced with a society that value the most them physical and emotional well-being. People look for jobs where they can feel safe, free, valued, involved, motivated, happy, and fulfilled. They are looking for jobs that, in addition to work, allow them time for themselves, family, friends, rest and leisure. These new behaviors of the labor market, obliges organizations to adjust the reality and adopt strategies to achieve the performance, guarantee competitive advantage and the success. Leadership becomes the main critical factor to achieve that performance. In this way, after exploring the proposed subject, a qualitative research of the descriptive and exploratory type was essential for the elaboration of the practical section of this dissertation. Through questionnaires from professionals from different areas and companies, it was possible to achieve the objective of this study by analyzing the importance of a culture of satisfaction and motivation in people to accomplish organizational effectiveness, through a leadership practice based on the 5 principles of lean leadership. Through the statistical analysis of the hypotheses presented for the developed leadership model, a percentage of statement above 90% was obtained for all hypotheses except for the hypothesis that states the leader positively impacts the organization with 63.4% agreement.
