A Segurança e Saúde no Trabalho (SST) é um elemento fundamental no funcionamento das organizações. Ao
promover um local de trabalho seguro e saudável a satisfação, produtividade e- ebsetmar dos trabalhadores
aumenta e consequentemente a ocorrência de anctiedse de trabalho e doenças profissionais diminui. O Sistema
de Gestão da Segurança e Saúde no Trabalho (SGSST) implementado de acordo com a ISO 45001 constitui uma
ferramenta preventiva de forma a impulsionar a organização a definir processos paraa çaã eol idmoisn perigos e
redução dos riscos para SST e que possam por em causa a segurança e saúde dos trabalh adores.
A implementação de um SGSST pode proporcionar diversas vantagens às organizações e desempenha um papel
importante na sua gestão. A implementação dos requisitos das normas internacionais pode ser auditada e
certificada por uma entidade externa. O setoorn dsatr cução conta com o maior número de empresas certificadas
conforme o referencial ISO 45001. O crescimento do número de empresas certificadas é um forte indicador de
que as organizações estão empenhadas e comprometidas com a segurança e saúde no amdeb iternatbea lho. A
construção é um setor que conta com atividades de alto risco e com um número alto de acidentes de trabalho, e
a implementação de um SGSST bem estabelecido pode prevenir a sua ocor rência.
O presente trabalho de projeto teve como principal objetivo o desenvolvimento e implementação de um SGSST
de acordo com a NP EN ISO 45001:2023 na Globaltérmica, Instalações Mecânicas, S.A., empresa de AVAC
sediada em Amarante. Tendo por base a temática e o bjetivos estabelecidos foi utilizada a metodologia de
investigação-ação e o modelo PDCA para a implementação do Sistema de G estão.
Para a implementação do SGSST foi desenvolvido um Plano de Ações/Melhoria. Esta foi a ferramenta base que
impulsionou o desenvolvimento e a implementação do SG SST.
Foi desenvolvida a base documental do SGSST cuja elaboração teve em conta o Plano de Ações/Melhoria, os
requisitos da norma, e a observação de práticas de SST existentes na organ ização.
Foi possível verificar que a implementação do SGSST foi realizada de forma eficaz através da realização de uma
auditoria interna e através de uma auditoria externa, culminando na certificação do SGSST por um organismo
acreditado. Todos os objetivos propooss tinicialmente foram alcançad os.

By promoting a safe and healthy workplace, workers satisfaction, productivity and w-beleling increases and consequently the occurrence of accidents and occupational diseases decreases. AnSH OMS implemented according to ISO 45001 constitutes a preventive tool, encouraging organizations to define processes to eliminate hazards and reduce risks that may jeopardize the safety and health of worke rs. Implementing an OSHMS can provide several advantages and plays an important role on the management of organizations. The requirements of international standards can be audited and certified by an external entity. The construction sector has the largest nubmer of companies certified according to the ISO 45001 standard. The growth in the number of certified companies is a strong indicator that organizations are committed to safety and health in the workplace. The construction sector involve-sr ihsikg hactiviites and has a high number of accidents, so the implementation of a w-eslltablished OSHMS is essential to prevent such occurre nces. The main objective of this project was the development and implementation of an Occupational Safety and Health Management System in accordance with NP EN ISO 45001:2023 in Globaltérmica, Instalações Mecânicas, S.A., an HVAC company, headquartered in Amatrea. nFollowing the objectives and theme of this project, it was utilized the acti-ornesearch methodology and the PDCA model to implement the Management System. It was developed a Plan of Actions/Improvement for the implementation of the OSHMS. This tool was the base that boosted the development and implementation of the O SHMS. It was developed the documental base of the OSHMS according to the Plan of Actions/Improvement, the standard requirements, and the observation on existing practices of OSH in the orga nization.
