“Do outro lado” é um espectáculo teatral que resulta de um projecto de mestrado de investigação-acção em criação cénica.
Procura através das trocas de personagens entre actores-criadores masculinos e femininos, questionar os papéis sociais de género e os estereótipos de género na e através da criação de personagens.
As micro-agressões de género surgem como o principal material dramatúrgico numa perspectiva de que todos nós, homens e mulheres, somos vítimas, mas também agressores quanto à diferenciação de género.
O devising constitui-se aqui como metodologia de pesquisa e de criação do espectáculo, bem como a parceria com a Musgo – Companhia de teatro cujos processos e filosofia de criação possibilitaram o enquadramento desta investigação.
"Do outro lado" is a theatre piece that resulted from a master’s practice-based research project in the area of Theatre making. It was seeking through the exchanges of characters between male and female actors-creators, to question the social roles of gender and gender stereotypes in and through the creation of characters. Gender micro-aggressions appear as the main dramaturgical material working from the perspective that all of us, both men and women, are victims but also aggressors in terms of gender differentiation. Devising is the methodology for research and creation of the show, as well as the partnership with Musgo – Companhia de teatro whose processes and philosophy of creation made possible the framing of this research.
