Abstract(s)
a otimização do processo.
processo produtivo aumente.
The dissertation aims to obtain a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, in the field of Energy and Biorefinery, by the School of Engineering of the Polytechnic of Porto (ISEP). This project is based on a case study in the production area and was carried out full time between March and June 2023 at Resiway - Soluções Sustentáveis, S.A, producer of technical oil from waste consisting of oil and fat. The purpose of this project is to create a methodology to monitor and optimize the production lines, as well as to offer improvements. In phase one was done analysis, observation, and survey of the company's processes in the production area. In phase two, a data monitoring system was created, and downtime measurements were taken of the production process. Lastly, the results obtained were analysed and it was possible to identify improvements in the production lines. Lean tools were also implemented to enhance process optimization. It is believed that, with the implementation of the identified improvement proposals, process automation, heating and agitation of the feedstock, the efficiency of the production process will increase.
