Abstract(s)
Nos últimos anos, com a evolução da indústria, o aumento da competitividade no setor e a
pressão que existe para que as empresas sejam mais flexíveis para responder ao mercado,
têm sido iniciados investimentos em tecnologias com o objetivo de aumentar a produtividade
dos seus recursos, aumento do lucro e início do processo de transformação digital. Nesse
contexto, as empresas tentam combater um problema que já existe há algum tempo, o planeamento
da produção do produto, uma vez que esse processo engloba uma rede colaborativa de
diversos recursos, envolvendo uma gestão complicada, demorada e passíveis falhas. Assim,
esta dissertação descreve a situação atual do setor do calçado, o problema que enfrenta e as
formas de resolver este problema com base em métodos de avaliação e modelos de previsão,
que incidirão em toda a rede colaborativa envolvente.

Therefore, this dissertation describes the current situation of the footwear sector, the problem they face and ways to solve this problem based on assessment methods and forecasting models, which will focus on the entire surrounding collaborative network.
