Abstract(s)
The thesis presented here is framed in the study of energy efficiency. In this work, it was studied the economic and technical components of photovoltaic panels for self-consumption and an improvement of an informatic tool previous designed in VBA language. This tool was designed in workplace environment with the purpose of helping an engineering company strengths its position on the renewable energy market, especially in photovoltaic plants. This tool can be used to help ESCO company’s elaborating reports that serve for energy performance contracts or just direct offers to a client. Photovoltaic dimensioning is a complex and time-consuming process, so in a way to facilitate this process this thesis has its main objective to create an informatic tool. With access to the load diagram of a facility and the local radiance it will be able to make technical and economic reports using as method of calculus the optimization of photovoltaic panels for each specific case. The tool was subject of tests with real data and it was concluded it was an advantage comparing with the manual dimensioning. Of its advantages, the capacity of optimization of photovoltaic plants as well as its capacity of monitoring the production were the most valuables.
