Abstract(s)
Este projeto consistiu na construção de terrários e sua inclusão numa instalação que, em tempo real, sonorize a vida do ecossistema presente. Em particular, serão implementadas estratégias que visem metaforizar a relação entre as partes, na qual se inclui o público, através da capacitância e a sua ligação às plantas nos terrários, de tal forma que estimule a ligação humano-planta. Além da música e do som, como elementos estruturais, serão implementadas outras abordagens/equipamento tecnológicas que ajudem o público, por um lado, a escutar a “música das plantas” (e.g. Arduíno, sensores) e, por outro lado, a imergir no espaço (e.g. luz, cheiro, humidade) e assim convidar à sua interação com as plantas/ecossistema. Este trabalho é inspirado pela pesquisa de pessoas como Stefano Mancuso, Monica Gagliano, Mileece Abson, que apelam à nossa relação com as plantas de um ponto de vista que não as reduza a um organismo inferior, mas que seja antes uma relação de entendimento das suas qualidades, muitas dessas em comum e essenciais para os humanos.
The project consists in the construction of terrariums and their inclusion in an installation that, in real time, sounds the life of the ecosystem. Strategies will be implemented that aim to metaphorize the relationship between the parties, in which the public is included, through the capacitivity and their relationship with the plants in the terrariums, in such a way that stimulates the human-plant connection. Besides music and sound, as structural elements, other technological approaches/equipment will be implemented that help the public, on one hand, to listen to the "music of the plants" (e.g., Arduino, sensors) and, on the other hand, to immerse themselves in the space (e.g., light, smell, humidity) and thus invite their interaction with the plants/ecosystem.
