Abstract(s)
O trabalho desenvolvido nesta dissertação foca-se na análise e melhoria dos processos de uma
lavandaria industrial.
Em concreto debruça-se sobre a melhoria dos processos de reprocessamento, relave, descarte e
costura de roupa visando o aumento da produtividade geral da unidade.
Foi utilizada uma metodologia de investigação-acção para que, de forma cíclica, se promovam
melhorias em processos industriais de uma lavandaria industrial.
Ao longo dos três ciclos de melhoria, de dez semanas cada, utilizaram-se diversas ferramentas que
foram implementadas por uma equipa transversal de pessoal da unidade que se focou em
minimizar retrabalho e promover o aumento do fluxo de peças boas em circulação.
O impacto de um fluxo alinhado nos processos acima mencionados foi, principalmente, sentido na
redução de custos energéticos e aumento de produtividade da unidade, na medida em que se
entregou mais peças de roupa no mesmo tempo de abertura de fábrica.
The work developed in this dissertation focuses on analyzing and improving the processes of an industrial laundry. Specifically, it focuses on improving reprocessing, rewashing, discarding, and sewing clothes to increase the unit's overall productivity. The methodology used was the action research strategy towards promoting improvements in industrial processes in an industrial laundry in a cyclical manner. Throughout the three improvement cycles, lasting ten weeks each, several tools were used and implemented by a transversal team of personnel from the unit who focused on minimizing rework and promoting an increase in the flow of good parts in circulation. The impact of an aligned flow in the processes mentioned above was mainly felt in the reduction of energy costs and increased productivity of the unit, as more garments were delivered at the same time as the factory opened.
