O presente documento explicita o processo de análise e desenvolvimento de uma nova funcionalidade na plataforma E-goi, inerente à unidade curricular Tese / Dissertação / Estágio do Mestrado em Engenharia de Software do Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. A E-goi é uma empresa de marketing digital, que disponibiliza aos seus clientes uma plataforma onde estes podem comunicar com os seus contactos utilizando diferentes canais de comunicação. Entre estes canais destaca-se o Email, sobre o qual recai o foco do projeto descrito neste documento. Os emails enviados na plataforma possuem um relatório com diversos indicadores de desempenho. No entanto não existem indicadores relacionados com o desempenho E-Commerce, algo que se tem vindo a normalizar nos concorrentes da E-goi. O projeto descrito neste documento tem como objetivo colmatar esta lacuna, acrescentando uma secção focada no desempenho E-Commerce ao relatório atual, que apresente indicadores de desempenho relacionados com a campanha de email enviada pelos clientes da plataforma aos seus contactos. Neste documento é fornecida uma contextualização do projeto e do problema associado ao mesmo, de forma a que seja possível perceber o propósito do trabalho realizado. São também descriminadas as componentes técnicas do projeto, como os processos de análise, desenho e implementação da solução final na plataforma E-goi, de forma a responder aos requisitos associados ao projeto. Após a conclusão do projeto foi possível verificar que todos os objetivos traçados foram alcançados e todos os requisitos delineados no início do projeto foram cumpridos.
The present report explains the process of development on a new functionality, related with E-Commerce, in the E-goi platform, inherent to the Tese / Dissertação / Estágio course of the Masters in Software Engineering of the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. E-goi is a digital marketing company that provides its customers with a platform where they can communicate with their contacts using different communication channels. Among these channels Email stands out, on which the focus of the project described in this report rests. The emails sent on the platform have a report with several performance indicators. However, there are no indicators related to E-Commerce performance, something that has been normalized in E-goi’s competitors. The project described in this document aims to fill this gap, adding a section focused on E-Commerce performance to the current report, which presents performance indicators related to the email campaign sent by the platform’s customers to their contacts. This document provides a contextualization of the project and the problem associated with it, so that it is possible to understand the purpose of the performed work. The specific technical components of the project are also described, including the processes of analysis, design and implementation of the final solution, in order to match the presented requirements. At the end of the project it was possible to achieve the outlined objectives at the beginning of the project. It was also possible to verify that all the requirements were fulfilled with the final solution.
