Ao longo das últimas décadas ocorreram mudanças muito rápidas no mundo, criando
uma dinâmica nas relações sócio-económicas, de difícil comparação. A celeridade na difusão
das tecnologias, acompanhada pela exigência aprimorada dos consumidores e pela crescente
competitividade do mercado, proporciona o aparecimento de novas formas organizacionais.
As alianças estratégicas enquadram-se nesta nova fase de organização estratégica, oferecendo
às empresas a possibilidade de competir através da cooperação.
Este estudo tem como objectivo analisar a temática envolvente ao conceito de aliança
estratégica, fazendo-se em primeiro lugar uma abordagem teórica de forma a enquadrar o
tema, complementada posteriormente com uma abordagem prática que permite observar a
opinião das empresas portuguesas, inseridas no sector exportador de produtos, relativamente à
adesão a esta nova herança do desenvolvimento global.A concretização das alianças estratégicas proporciona às empresas a realização de
objectivos comuns através da partilha de recursos, custos, riscos e benefícios. É através da
cooperação empresarial que as empresas fomentam a sua actividade e prosseguem na
consecução de novas oportunidades. As alianças estratégicas são promotoras do
desenvolvimento empresarial e do crescimento e expansão das empresas. As constantes
mutações do mercado impulsionam a criação de parcerias. Estas parcerias sustentam as
empresas, aperfeiçoam as competências e desenvolvem as actividades empresariais.
Em particular, no que se refere ao sector exportador de produtos, as conclusões deste
estudo são no sentido de que existe uma dinâmica importante ao nível desta forma de
cooperação empresarial e que as empresas a entendem como uma forma de melhorarem o seu
desempenho competitivo. Entre as empresas deste sector que já realizaram alianças
estratégicas, que predominam no domínio comercial, conclui-se que a aliança conduziu, na
maior parte dos casos, à criação de valor e aumentou o volume de vendas, o lucro e o retorno
de investimento. A concretização da aliança estratégica coadjuvou no alcance dos objectivos
delineados o que legitima o interesse pela realização de novas parcerias.
Over the past decades there have been changes very fast in the world, creating dynamic socio-economic relations, difficult to compare. The rapid diffusion of technologies, accompanied by improved consumer demand and increasing market competition gives the appearance of new organizational forms. Strategic alliances fall into this new phase of strategic organization offering companies the change to compete through cooperation. This study analyzes the themes surrounding the concept of strategic alliance, becoming first a theoretical approach in order to frame the subject, later completed by a practical approach that allows us to observe the view of Portuguese companies with regard to adherence to this new inheritance global development. The implementation of strategic alliances provides enterprises with the achievement of common objectives by sharing resources, costs, risks and benefits. It is through business cooperation that companies promote their business and continue the pursuit of new opportunities. Strategic alliances are promoting business development and growth and business expansion. The constant changes in the market drive the creation of partnerships. These partnerships support businesses, improve skills and develop business activities. In particular, it appears that the export sector products there is an important dynamic at this form of business cooperation and that companies see it as a way to improve their competitive performance. Among the companies in this sector that have made strategic alliances, which dominate the field of trade, most indicate that the alliance led to the creation of value and increased sales, profit and return on investment. The implementation of the strategic alliance assist in achieving the objectives outlined what legitimate interest in new partnerships.
