Abstract(s)
A presente tese aborda a implementação de metodologias de gestão de projetos na indústria de Coding & Marking, com foco na empresa MARQUE TDI DOMINO PRINTING SCIENCES. Este documento, expõe os desafios relacionados com falhas de organização e conhecimento dos projetos em curso, bem como a falta de visibilidade dos projetos já entregues e a incapacidade de cumprir os prazos estabelecidos com os clientes. A solução proposta envolve a implementação de uma estrutura no software JIRA, com o intuito de melhorar a organização e monitorização dos projetos em andamento. Além disso, é também desenvolvida uma estrutura no software CONFLUENCE para adversar a falta de visibilidade e conhecimento dos projetos após o encerramento dos mesmos. Complementarmente, propõe-se a adoção de uma metodologia híbrida, Waterfall e Agile, com o objetivo de melhorar as estimativas de tempo fornecidas ao cliente e também para proporcionar uma maior flexibilidade durante a execução dos projetos. Com a adoção destas metodologias, existem duas desvantagens encontradas, nomeadamente a complexidade de implementação, onde a integração das ferramentas JIRA e CONFLUENCE podem exigir um investimento significativo de tempo e recursos, o que nos
leva à segunda desvantagem, que consiste na necessidade da equipa ter formações para conseguir utilizar eficazmente estas novas ferramentas, o que pode impactar a produtividade inicial. Para garantir a conformidade, a estruturação dos projetos no JIRA foi validada através de revisões periódicas com o responsável, assegurando que todas as fases, entregas e tarefas estavam claramente definidas e atribuídas. A avaliação de desempenho da solução será realizada através da estrutura criada em JIRA, onde será possível acompanhar os projetos em tempo real e analisar relatórios e gráficos do tempo despendido em cada tarefa. Através da estrutura criada em CONFLUENCE, a equipa terá capacidade para aumentar a visibilidade e acessibilidade das informações dos projetos. Desenvolvimentos efetuados: • Estruturação detalhada dos projetos no JIRA, incluindo fases, entregas e tarefas com definição clara de responsáveis e prazos.
• Criação de páginas no CONFLUENCE para documentação dos projetos, assegurando a visibilidade e acessibilidade das informações após a entrega. • Proposta de implementação de um método híbrido, começando com Waterfall nas fases iniciais e transição para Agile nas fases subsequentes.
This thesis deals with the implementation of project management methodologies in the Coding & Marking industry, with a focus on MARQUETDI DOMINO PRINTING SCIENCES company. This document exposes the problematic lack of organisation and knowledge of ongoing projects, as well as the lack of visibility of projects already delivered and the inability to meet deadlines set for clients. The proposed solution involves implementing a structure in the JIRA software to improve the organisation and monitoring of ongoing projects. In addition, a structure is also developed in CONFLUENCE software to combat the lack of visibility and knowledge of projects after they have been closed. In addition, it is proposed to adopt a hybrid methodology, Waterfall and Agile, with the aim of improving the time estimates provided to the client and to provide greater flexibility during project execution. There are two disadvantages to adopting these practices: the complexity of implementation, where the integration of the JIRA and CONFLUENCE tools may require a significant investment of time and resources, and the team may need to be trained to be able to use these new tools effectively, which may have an impact on initial productivity. To ensure compliance, the structuring of projects in JIRA was validated through periodic reviews with the person in charge, ensuring that all phases, deliverables, and tasks were clearly defined and assigned. The performance evaluation of the solution will be carried out through the structure created in JIRA, where it will be possible to monitor the projects in real time and analyse reports and graphs of the time spent on each task. Through the structure created in CONFLUENCE, the team will be able to have an increased visibility and accessibility of project information.
