Os processos de globalizaĆ§Ć£o e de internacionalizaĆ§Ć£o jĆ” nĆ£o sĆ£o estranhos a nenhuma empresa. A verdade Ć© que o nosso mundo estĆ” cada vez mais aberto Ć s trocas de produtos, serviƧos, conhecimentos e tecnologias.
VĆ”rias razƵes podem levar uma empresa a adotar estratĆ©gias para estarem presentes nos mercados externos normalmente com o objetivo de aumentar as vendas, a rendibilidade e a sua visibilidade. No entanto as empresas devem estar consciente que estas ambiƧƵes obrigam a vĆ”rias adaptaƧƵes e restruturaƧƵes da organizaĆ§Ć£o de forma geral. Para alĆ©m destas mudanƧas, Ć© fundamental conhecer todos os obstĆ”culos que terĆ£o de ultrapassar.
As pequenas e mĆ©dias empresas afiguram-se, crescentemente, como candidatas a processos de expansĆ£o para novos mercados. Ć tambĆ©m este o caso da empresa Ballet Rosa. No sentido de minorar os problemas que a empresa Ballet Rosa ā empresa de vestuĆ”rio de danƧa ā poderĆ” encontrar aquando da sua internacionalizaĆ§Ć£o para o mercado inglĆŖs, o objetivo deste projeto Ć© ser um guia para a exportaĆ§Ć£o para este mercado em particular e para esta empresa em concreto.
A ambiĆ§Ć£o deste projecto Ć© o da sua construĆ§Ć£o e desenho ser replicĆ”vel para outras empresas e para outros mercados, afigurando-se como uma ferramenta de alavancagem do processo de internacionalizaĆ§Ć£o de pequenas e mĆ©dias empresas.
Os resultados do trabalho desenvolvido foram conseguidos por via da investigaĆ§Ć£o realizada no Ć¢mbito do estĆ”gio efectuado nesta empresa, optando-se por uma metodologia qualitativa, com cariz indutiva, descritiva e exploratĆ³ria.
O projeto comporta o estudo do mercado inglĆŖs abordando os contextos demogrĆ”ficos, geogrĆ”ficos, econĆ³micos, legais. Este trabalho abordar tambĆ©m as estratĆ©gias para a minimizar os riscos da internacionalizaĆ§Ć£o.
Processes of globalisation and internationalisation are no longer strange to companies. The truth is that our world is more and more favourable to exchanges of products, services, skills and technologies. There are several reasons that may lead a company to adopt strategies to be present in external markets, aiming to increase sales, profitability and its visibility. However, companies should be aware that these ambitions make some adaptations and restructuring of the organization mandatory. Besides these changes, it is fundamental to know all the obstacles they will have to overcome. Small and medium companies are, increasingly, candidates to expansion processes to new markets. This is also the case of the company Ballet Rosa. In order to alleviate the problems that the company Ballet Rose ā a dance clothing company - can find in its internationalization to the English market, the goal of this project is to guide exports to this particular market and to this concrete company. The aim of this project is that its construction and design can be replicable to other companies and to other markets, becoming a leverage tool of the internationalization process of small and medium enterprises. The results of the work were obtained through research carried out during an internship in this company, and it was used a qualitative methodology, inductive, descriptive and exploratory in nature. The project involves the study of the English market, addressing the demographic, geographic, economic and legal contexts. This work also addresses strategies to minimize the risks of internationalization.
