Abstract(s)
A palavra inovação há vários anos que é um fator chave para a economia e, atualmente, é vista como
uma das condições que permite às sociedades e às economias tornarem-se solidamente mais
desenvolvidas.
Coloca-se, assim, a inovação no meio de um novo modelo de desenvolvimento e crescimento
económico, onde a aptidão de produzir, divulgar e absorver conhecimentos ocupa cada vez mais um
papel de extrema relevância.
A presente dissertação abordou os processos de inovação em organizações que implementaram e
certificaram os seus requisitos pela NP 4457:2007 Requisitos do Sistema de Gestão da Investigação,
Desenvolvimento e Inovação (IDI).
Um dos objetivos foi analisar os benefícios e barreiras durante a implementação e certificação do
sistema de gestão. Para o desenvolvimento desta dissertação optou-se pelo estudo de caso de várias
organizações, o que permitiu um conhecimento amplo e aprofundado e facilitou o processo de recolha
de dados. A técnica usada foi a entrevista que permitiu analisar opiniões, obter o máximo de
informação e respostas mais específicas e pormenorizadas.
Este sistema serviu como oportunidade de diferenciação no mercado em que as organizações se
inserem e a melhoria do desempenho de IDI fará a diferença que serve de ponto de partida para o
aumento da competitividade.
The word innovation, for several years is a key factor in economics and, currently, is seen as one of the conditions that allow to societies and economies to become more solidly developed. Thus, the innovation is in the middle of a new model of development and economic growth, where the ability to produce, disseminate and absorb knowledge increasingly occupies a role of utmost importance. This dissertation addressed the innovation processes in organizations that have implemented and certified its management system to the requirements of NP 4457:2007 Requirements Management System Research, Development and Innovation (RDI). One objective was to analyze the benefits and barriers during the implementation and certification of the management system. For the development of this dissertation opted for the case study of several organizations, which allowed a wider and deep knowledge and a data collection process. The technique used was the interview that allowed analyzing opinions, obtaining as much information and more specific and detailed answers. This system served as an opportunity for marketplace differentiation where organizations fall and improving performance of RDI will make a difference that serves as a starting point for increasing competitiveness.
