| dc.description.abstract | No panorama empresarial atual existe uma crescente pressão para que as empresas adaptem os modelos de negócio incorporando as novas tecnologias, de forma a se tornarem mais competitivas. Uma das maiores preocupações no que diz respeito à implementação destas ferramentas é que estas possam vir a ser uma ameaça aos postos de trabalho, mas através deste estudo podemos confirmar que o objetivo não é esse. A intenção do uso de ferramentas de Inteligência Artificial, neste projeto, é otimizar o tempo despendido para a execução de determinadas tarefas, dando uma maior liberdade do uso do tempo de trabalho, pois as tarefas monótonas (que antes ocupavam grande parte do tempo) agora são mais curtas devido ao uso destas ferramentas. O objetivo deste projeto é analisar qual o impacto da implementação dos serviços da empresa HighRadius na otimização de processos da área financeira na HB Fuller. A participação da HB Fuller neste projeto foi fundamental, pois através do acesso aos seus dados foi possível analisar os impactos do uso dos serviços de Inteligência Artificial e dessa forma ter uma noção real do verdadeiro impacto destes serviços. Através deste projeto foi possível avaliar quais os requisitos necessários para uma implementação bem- sucedida. Com a análise feita aos dados fornecidos é possível concluir que quanto mais precisas as informações inseridas nas ferramentas usadas pela IA forem, mais eficientes serão os seus resultados, é preciso um trabalho contínuo para que esta se torne cada vez mais eficiente. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The main purpose of this project was to analyze the impact of the implementation of HighRadius services on the optimization of financial processes at HB Fuller. One of the main reasons for choosing this topic was the desire to better understand how new tech- nologies can improve current processes, in order to optimize the time spent performing certain tasks. With the awareness of the reality in which companies find themselves, it is increasingly important to understand what must be changed in order to keep up with the evolution of the economy, as the market needs are increasingly volatile and demanding. HB Fuller's collaboration in this project was fundamental, having access to the impacts of using Artificial Intelligence services it’s possible to have a real perspective of the true impact of these services, since the requirements need for the implementation, identifica- tion of potential errors, that when corrected will be a way to feed the AI tool and make it more and more efficient. With the analysis made of the data provided, I can conclude that the more accurate the information inserted in the tools used by the AI is, the more efficient its results will be, continuous work is needed for it to become increasingly efficient. Alt- hough there are some issues related to the implementation of these tools regarding job replacements which I can say that the objective is not to replace positions, but rather to optimize the existing ones, through a better time management and freedom of the use of working time, as the monotonous tasks that used to take a lot of time are now much shorter due to the usage of AI tools. | pt_PT |
