Atualmente, o mundo estĆ” regulado por mudanƧas constantes e altos nĆveis de competitividade. Dessa forma, a interdependĆŖncia entre paĆses a que estamos a assistir impacta as empresas, que tĆŖm, obrigatoriamente, que estar em alerta acerca de alteraƧƵes económicas, tecnológicas, polĆticas e sociais que poderĆ£o afetar o seu desempenho. Nessa ótica, as empresas precisam de estar, incessantemente, Ć procura de formas para se manterem inovadoras e relevantes no mercado.
Esta dissertação focou-se na pesquisa das tĆ©cnicas mais utilizadas pelas PME portuguesas para se conseguirem adaptar Ć s rĆ”pidas mudanƧas que ocorrem globalmente, tendo em consideração que as empresas sĆ£o consideradas os atores que melhor estĆ£o adaptados aos ritmos cĆclicos, isto porque as mesmas tĆŖm de se concentrar em variĆ”veis culturais, sociais, polĆticas, económicas e tecnológicas, de maneira a que o seu produto e/ou serviƧo se adapte Ć s condiƧƵes do mercado da maneira mais eficaz possĆvel.
Além da revisão literÔria que serviu de base para a parte da revisão de literatura, a pesquisa envolveu recolha de dados através de entrevistas profundas direcionadas a uma associação empresarial e a vÔrias empresas portuguesas que trabalham em diversos setores do ramo empresarial, em ordem, a ter especialistas com vÔrios anos de experiência corporativa, o que significa uma contribuição significativa na investigação.
Currently, the world is regulated by constant changes and high levels of competitiveness. In this way, the interdependence between countries that we are witnessing impacts companies, which necessarily have to be alert about economic, technological, political and social changes that could affect their performance. From this perspective, companies need to be constantly looking for ways to remain innovative and relevant in the market. This dissertation focused on researching the techniques most used by Portuguese SME to adapt to the rapid changes occurring globally, taking into account that companies are considered the actors that are best adapted to cyclical rhythms, because they have to focus on cultural, social, political, economic and technological variables, so that their product and/or service adapts to market conditions in the most effective way possible. In addition to the literary review that served as the basis for the Literature Review part, the research involves data collection through in-depth interviews aimed at a Business Association and several Portuguese companies, which work in different sectors of the business sector, in order, to have experts with several years of corporate experience, which means a significant contribution to the investigation.
