Monitorizar e extrair valor a partir do comportamento de uma aplicação implantada em ambiente de produção é uma mais valia para qualquer empresa. Através deste processo é possível mitigar falhas e problemas que possam afetar a produtividade da mesma e, consequentemente, a credibilidade da empresa no mercado. Permite também avaliar de que forma é que os utilizadores finais mais comunicam com a aplicação desenvolvida e desta forma, determinar padrões por forma a melhorar a experiência final como um todo. Dito isto, esta tese descreve a construção de uma pipeline de observabilidade capaz de capturar, transformar e posteriormente apresentar dados telemétricos através de uma interface gráfica intuitiva, por forma a oferecer as vantagens anteriormente descritas à empresa proponente.
Monitoring and extracting value from the behavior of an application deployed in a production environment is an advantage for any company. Through this process, it is possible to mitigate failures and problems that can affect the company’s productivity and, consequently, its credibility in the market. It also allows to assess how end users communicate most with the developed application and thus determine patterns in order to improve the final experience as a whole. That said, this thesis describes the construction of an observability pipeline capable of capturing, transforming and subsequently presenting telemetry data through an intuitive graphical user interface in order to offer the previously described advantages to the proposing company.
