Abstract(s)
O presente relatório apresenta o projeto “WITH YOU”, um projeto de intervenção psicossocial (co)construído com imigrantes e refugiados orientado pela metodologia de Investigação-Ação Participativa, e desenvolvido com a finalidade promover a inclusão e empoderamento de imigrantes e refugiados que residem em Braga e no Porto, de forma a facilitar a sua qualidade de vida e bem-estar.
O fenómeno migratório, emergente na atualidade, seja ele voluntário ou forçado, de longa ou curta duração, clandestino ou regular, exige novos olhares sobre a intervenção e a inclusão social, bem como novas dinâmicas de intervenção. Partindo da análise do fluxo migratório de refugiados para Portugal, e do conhecimento da vida de algumas famílias, das suas dificuldades e sucessos, construiu-se o projeto “WITH YOU”, numa evocação ao trabalho em colaboração, de apoio, em conjunto, “com o outro”.
A partir das necessidades e problemas identificados pelos participantes, construiu-se este projeto com o objetivo de promover estabelecimento de novas relações, aproximação aos hábitos locais, compreensão da realidade socioeconómica de Portugal, valorização do caminho e a trajetória de cada participante e a criação de uma plataforma informativa virtual que permitiu aos atores sociais traçar novas estratégias para enfrentar os desafios. O projeto potenciou os recursos pessoais e locais, incentivando o envolvimento e a participação ativa de um grupo de pessoas que acredita e deseja a mudança, impactando não só os participantes diretos como também familiares e outros refugiados e imigrantes.
This report presents the “WITH YOU” project, a psychosocial intervention project built with immigrants and refugees, guided by the Participatory Action Research methodology, and designed to promote the inclusion and empowerment of immigrants and refugees living in Braga and Porto, in order to facilitate your quality of life and well-being. The migratory phenomenon, emerging nowadays, whether voluntary or forced, long or short term, clandestine or regular, requires new perspectives on intervention and social inclusion, as well as new dynamics of intervention. Starting from the analysis of the migrant flow of refugees to Portugal, and the knowledge of the lives of some families, their difficulties and successes, the project “WITH YOU” was built, in an evocation of collaborative work, supporting together “ with the other". From the needs and problems identified by the participants, this project was built with the objective of promoting the establishment of new relationships, approximation to local habits, understanding of the socioeconomic reality of Portugal, appreciation of the path and the trajectory of each participant and the creation of a virtual information platform that allowed social actors to devise new strategies to meet the challenges. The project has leveraged personal and local resources by encouraging the involvement and active participation of a group of people who believe and desire change, impacting not only direct participants but also family members and other refugees and immigrants.
