Abstract(s)

Logistics emerges as an interface element between suppliers and customers, being responsible for the management of physical and information flows, focusing on total customer satisfaction and contemplating three key variables: time, cost and quality of service. Supply Chain Management involves attracting and retaining customers and markets, the efficiency of operations management, the profitability of companies, but also the coordination and demand of chain partners, allowing to develop synchronization mechanisms between suppliers, intermediaries, logistics service providers and customers. An efficient logistics system, through the reception, management and sharing of information with all business partners, will trigger a rationalization of resources and leverage better results. This study aims to identify the importance of logistics and relational and collaborative management in the supply chain and how the underlying vision of integrated logistics and the creation of synergies can influence a company's performance.
