Abstract(s)
Grosso.
Neste sentido, o objetivo central deste estudo é analisar a
The social responsibility of a public educational institution aims to promote the well-being and development of society, given that the knowledge produced can be converted into educational projects, which essentially opens the doors of universities/institutes to the community. This return of the knowledge built up in academia is converted into the resolution of issues inherent in the expressions of the social question. One problem that demands a lot of attention today is the situation experienced by Brazilian women, who are responsible for providing for their families, but because they are often in a situation of socio-economic vulnerability, they are marginalized, without support and with their dignity compromised. This research aims to analyze the implementation of IFMT's Teresa de Benguela Program, a public policy aimed at promoting income, empowerment and self-sufficiency for women in the state of Mato Grosso. Programs such as Teresa de Benguela contribute to reducing gender inequalities, as they act directly to provide educational and professional opportunities for women. The main objective of this study is to analyze the trajectory and impact of the Teresa de Benguela Program as an instrument for female entrepreneurship between 2017 and 2022. The universe of the research is 44 projects approved in the Program's selection calls. The sample was made up of 50% of the approved projects, 22 of which were projects, and 4 of the Program's managers. As for the methodological procedures, the study is exploratory in nature and is a case study with a qualitative approach. Different techniques were used to collect data, such as interviews, questionnaires and documentary research. In this sense, it is hoped to indicate to the institution the factors necessary to achieve the effectiveness of the Program, so that it is possible to generate significant impacts, both within the institution and in the external community through Extension actions.
