O presente relatório de estagio visa relatar a minha experiência de estágio na
produtora Bando a Parte, onde, durante 3 meses, estive envolvida na montagem de dois
projetos documentais. Irei desenvolver os métodos e intenções com que trabalhei este
material fílmico, reservando uma parte do relatório para a investigação teórica do tema
da música no cinema documental. A minha abordagem, informada pela história e
revisão literária do tema, será uma de exploração das possibilidades da significação que
emerge de um uso musical criativo.
Senti uma feliz influência da investigação teórica que ia desenvolvendo na
aplicação prática do tratamento do espaço musical de um dos filmes que trabalhei
durante o estágio. O Caleidoscópio é uma iniciativa cultural, que, através da música,
visionava conectar 4 territórios do Baixo minho. Esta capacidade transformadora da
música é algo que identifiquei e procurei aplicar ao meu tratamento do filme, buscando
conceitos que a teoria me ajudou a aprofundar.
